I have a 29 gallon established tank with good water quality; (I test often) I have 6 giant danios, 2 balloon mollies & 1 gourami left. My black molly died recently too; He was fine until one day, I found him dead. My 3 dead gouramis were sluggish & looked bloated while still alive. The danos tend to be hyper, eating as much as they can get. Could the gourami's not be getting enough to eat? They stay in the middle to botton of the tank. Thanks for any advice. Troy

I have tried numerous times to keep Dwarf Blue Gouramis with no luck what so ever!!! Mine seem to suffer the same symptoms. They normally last a few weeks and then once they get the bloated look they are dead within 2days. I don't try to keep them any more as much as I would like to...

I have a co-worker whos had this problem with them. Im guessing that it could be malawi bloat. Malawi bloat mainly affect african cichlids buy I wouldn't doubt that it could affect them.
