Unfortunately I had a case of Pop Eye in one of my Pandas a while back that was resistant to my standard treatment - Myxazin. So I had to go out and buy some Melafix. Melafix did the trick though - NUEKD the Pop Eye and the fish was back to normal in around 5 days. Melafix is great, but has just one teensy weensy disadvantage from my standpoint ... it's rather strong smelling. Plus, if you add it to an aquarium with a powerhead going at a decent rate of knots, you find yourself staring back at something that looks like soap suds for the first 5 minutes or so after application. Other than that, definitely going to be a staple of my fish med cabinet from now on. ![]() Right now I just wish someone would come up with something that's equally effective at dealing with this stinking head cold I've picked up ... ![]() ![]() |

With mine I used tetracycle tablets for 5 days every day then changed parshul water change and left her in with out for 5 day's then if I had to repet for another 5 days. But I didn't have to it cleared up on the first week of meds edith |
