A month ago I bought some silver hatchetfish (all male) from my LFS, after getting whitespot initially they appeared completely fine after treatment and at the end of 2 weeks I moved them to my main 20g tank. One of them started sulking a lot, with faint white areas on it's fins and a series of different-looking scales. I know that the fish does not have the white spots of ich, these patches appear to be just scales with a slightly different sheen to the rest. I have continued with some protizin, melafix for the slight fin damage and stress coat but yesterday the fish began to list and carry on the current and I fear it may be lost. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Here is the best photo i could take My camera hates the fishtank. I'm putting him back in the QT and going to dose melafix. Any advice is appreciated, I'd really prefer not to lose this fish.

Ok thanks for the help guys but he died that night. Some of the others have one or two similar marks so I'd like some advice before it gets worse, if anyone has some. Thanks.

What other fish are in the tank?

Could you give us some water parameters please? pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

Any other behaviors or strange markings you can think of?
