Maybe Finrot.... | |
jasonpisani *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 5553 Kudos: 7215 Votes: 1024 Registered: 24-Feb-2003 | I am not 100% sure but i think that 2 of my C.sterbai have finrot...... They are in an only Corydoras tank & so there is nobody to nip them. The only other living creature in the tank is a Nerite snail. I placed them in a container & placed an airstone, added a few drops of Melafix & i would like to know, what can i do more?. The Finrot is on the Dorsal & Caudal fins. Thanks alot in advance. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Now saying all that I would use both products then as Hoksey mentioned locate the cause of the problem. The snail "could" be the problem with its waste. I would do several water changes as soon as possible Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I will try to do more water changes & i don't think that the Nerite snail can pollute a 60L. tank. The tank is filtered by 2 box filters & i have 16 medium sized corydoras. Thanks once again. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
