I am not 100% sure but i think that 2 of my C.sterbai have finrot...... They are in an only Corydoras tank & so there is nobody to nip them. The only other living creature in the tank is a Nerite snail.

I placed them in a container & placed an airstone, added a few drops of Melafix & i would like to know, what can i do more?.

The Finrot is on the Dorsal & Caudal fins.

Thanks alot in advance.

Melafix is more for stress yet it helps in the treatment of bacterial infections where as Rapidly treats fungal infections on body and fins.

Now saying all that I would use both products then as Hoksey mentioned locate the cause of the problem.

The snail "could" be the problem with its waste.

I would do several water changes as soon as possible

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Thanks alot for your comments. I will try to do more water changes & i don't think that the Nerite snail can pollute a 60L. tank. The tank is filtered by 2 box filters & i have 16 medium sized corydoras.

Thanks once again.
