I have had some shrimp in a tropical tank now for a few months and all has beens fine. The begining of this week I moved them into their new home with a zebra plec and a few other fish and they were fine for a few days. I bought a few more and since last night they have all started to die. They start by being unable to stand so just lay on their sides or if they can still slightly stand they fall over and pick themselves up and fall over again. Then their insides start to turn a pinky colour then they final die and completely turn pink.
Has anyone had this or know what is going on?

What size tank?
Who are the tankmates?
Ammonia?
Nitrate?
Nitrite?

Giving as all the info(give us numbers, dont say the water is fine) will help the problem get solved quicker.

Hope we can help

The problem lies in the water peramiters of the new tank. Using your words "FINE" what does this mean.

I strongly suggest return them to their origional home add some stress coat turn the light off and give them time to recover that is if they can.

Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
