New Cories, One Has Pop Eye | |
fishinfun Hobbyist Posts: 51 Kudos: 27 Votes: 5 Registered: 07-Feb-2007 | My new false juli cories were doing fine, till tonite when I noticed that one has pop eye. in the 10 gal tank water params NItrate 5 nitrite 0 ammonia 0 ph 7.8 temp 72 f I dosed with melafix, and bumped the temp a bit. Any other suggestions? thanks |

Both of these could easily have occurred before you got the Corie. In that case I would take the infected fish back and ask for an exchange. Also take a good water sample with and get your water tested just in case your testing is not accurate. I am thankful for prime, as it get s the chlorine and ammonia. well nobody else has got any problems yet, can't say if the patient is any better yet, will keep it posted. |
