Pop Eye
Can be caused by rough handling or water pollution. Both of these could easily have occurred before you got the Corie.

In that case I would take the infected fish back and ask for an exchange. Also take a good water sample with and get your water tested just in case your testing is not accurate.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

True- Cories prefer a PH of 6-7 similar to tetras

Yes, I'd be nervous of anything above 7.5.

Good luck! I just love Corys.

I vote! Do you?

yeah, I need to get some wood for that tank, the water from the tap is not the best here. I am thankful for prime, as it get s the chlorine and ammonia.
well nobody else has got any problems yet, can't say if the patient is any better yet, will keep it posted.

I am happy to report that the fish with pop eye has almost fully recovered. None of the other fish developed any probs.
