" A single treatment lasting 5 - 7 days is normally sufficient. Retreat if necessary, but no more than once every 3 to 5 days. " For some reason I cant figure out how I'm suppose to interpret this. Does it mean that the first dosage is the only dosage I will need. Meaning the 1 teaspoon I put in my 20 gallon will be ill I need. Then in 7 days do a water change or does it mean that on days 3 and 5 I should also treat. I've never heard of a medication that is used once and then is done(which is why I think I'm having such a problem with the directions). Does anyone have experience with this product? Thanks, Tigermom |

If a second treatment is necessary then you can add a second treatment 3-5 days after starting the initial treatment began. When you would start the second treatment would depend upon the types of fish you have and how sensitive they are to the ingredients within the medication. Some hardy fish would withstand the increased dosage (3 days) while others would need it to be "diluted" by time (5 days) before starting the second dosage. As to which fish are "hardy" and which would be sensitive, I would email the manufacturer for specifics. http://www.uskoi.com/prazipro.htm Frank -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |
