	Possible fin rot? (pics)
Sin in Style Mega Fish Posts: 1323 Kudos: 1119 Votes: 165 Registered: 03-Dec-2003	saw my gibby pleco ( 7inches ) today and noticed his tail had a tear. this is the 1st ive seen it but the tear looks like its left the ray behind. could this possibly be rot and not a tear at all? the way its shaped and how it left the ray behind suggests to me its rot. would liek more opinions on it if possible here are 2 pics. *Sin in Style attached this image:*

Could be a tear or a nasty bite. To be 100% onthe safe side treat the individual or thetanbk with a good suitable med possibly a good anti fungal medication.
