Make sure she has a varied diet so that constipation can be ruled out of the equation. Dropsy can be caused by bad water quality and also renal failure. Not much you can do about the latter. Hope fishy gets skinny again soon. Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes. |

How this helps you though, im not sure. Theres just too many causes of swelling for it to be specific to dropsy, although dropsy almost inevitably causes swelling. You never know till you get full symptoms, and then its too late I guess . ![]() I guess you can only act on what you see as being feasible. A few peas for digestion, maybe a dewormer,a tank cleanout, maybe even an antibiotic? Its shooting in the dark really. ![]() |
