These fish are not mine but they are from a fishkeeping forum here in Costa Rica. Someone is asking about this and I've never seen something like it so I figured Id ask about it here. Perhaps someone can help. The angel fish are looking straight up and apparently the first one is already dead.

I think you better check those links as they only take you to the front page and not photos.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Other than a poor photo/dirty tank I tried to clean it up a little also make it a lot lighter. I hope you do not mind me adjusting the photo.

The photo also shows up the very poor condition it is in the fins like they have been torn and ripped. You have and possibly could not supply any of the water parameters. Several things I could think of but mainly all the parameters are way out and this has burnt the fins. Also it looks like it is trying to get some air.
I also don't think this poor fish has much of a chance of surviving if left in those conditions.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Is it a new tank setup....or existing.

High nitrate/nitrite levels can make the fish swim weird, as they are not getting enough oxygen.

Hard to tell from this photo though....has it been majorly harrassed by another fish??

Poor little dude

Hey guys, I cant answer anything because I have no clue whatsoever about the fish except the pictures provided by the owner of the tank on the forum.

I doubt he is exactly up to date on parameters as it seems he is just beginning. I will see what I can do in terms of helping him out. Keith thanks for even taking the time to make the photo lighter so you could see the problems with the fish.

I'll see what the owner responds, thanks.
