sounds a bit over stocked to me.

add some aeration ASAP and increase the surface agitation by lowering the water level an inch or two until you can retrieve a aerator.

Starting to feel the need for a little increase in salinity maybe? It can protect the gills from nitrite etc..

Hi,
I'm thinking the Scat is out of its natural element and
is under quite a bit of stress. Scats are brackish water
fish. They must have a salinity (Specific Gravity) of 1.005
to 1.012. The other fish you have in that tank cannot live
in water that is saline. I suspect you should immediately
remove the Scat from that tank and either return it, or
give it the water that it requires, quickly.

Also... Please note the size of these fish when mature..
12 inches! Your tank is not big enough for this fish
muchless all the others that you have in it.
