redthanatos Fingerling Posts: 23 Kudos: 20 Votes: 0 Registered: 17-Jul-2006 | Hey everyone... so the fish in my tank still have ick and a little fin rot.. i've been treating with aquarisol everyday for the last 5 days but the fish dont look any better (fin rot looks better) but the ick is worse and its on other fish now too i have 2 filters in the tank.. neither has carbon in them so water is ultra filtrated... i dont have a test kit its a planted tank.. i dunno if that has anything to do with anything... but i dont know what else to do? Help me save my fishes! Sean |

Raise the temp to 82F and add some air stones. Make sure the lights are off. Getting rid of ich is a gradual thing it wont happen overnight.. but it will happen keep dosing with meds as per directions on package.. if this doesnt work i recommend using a type of multicure as this helped me when other meds failed! its always handy to have at the same time for most other occassions! as far as i know plants wont make a difference. |

Are you doing all the correct things as suggested in your previous post. If you are there could be something wrong with the medication, are you using it as directed, or it is not an actual Ich medication. It can be a very slow process especially if you have not raised the tank temp. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
