I had an outbreak of white spots but what worries me is using meds to treat it on such betta fry. Can anyone say whether one use such meds to treat ich on betta fry?

Use it at half strength it should be fine.

What med are you planning on using?

Yeah, i think you should be ok with a half-dose. If there is a doserate on there for loaches or scaleless fish, use that

Before I even read Call reply I certainly would suggest half strengh.
You can raise the temp slowly and turn off any lights. Keep up the treatment a bit longer to make sure you have killed all the cysts in the substrate.
