I got a new guppy a few days back, and she did fine. Then, Yesterday, both of my Ottos died. in the same day- just "Poof" I didn't notice any weird behavior, but the again, I rarely see them, so.. yeah. At the time that the dead fish were found, my 2 old guppies were stuck brhind the filter, sucked to it. It insn't a powerful filter- a internal Whisper in a tank that's at the Max of the sizes it's built for. I haven't had them get sucked to it before- The new guppy, BTW, wasn't sucked- she was swing around happily. So I took out the filter, not wanting them to get sucked there at night. The next morning, the new guppy was dead.

I don't know PH and such, but the temp is about 76 F and it's a 10 gal. There's a ADF and 4 inch Blue Gourami in there too, besides the guppies. The guppies have been acting a bit more- "sleepy" in the morn that usual, not zipping up to the surface when I turn the light on. I think White Spot was introduced, as there was a goldfish in there for a day who was later found to have it. I saw white dots on one sucker, but no spots on the Guppie. The surviving girl has really ragged fins.

If pets are so stupid, how did they weasel free room and board out of us?

Any idea of the water parameters? Both Otos and Guppies are notorious for immediately keeling over if something in the water isn't to their liking.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

To start of with get a full water test done at your LFS. Am I correct in understanding that you nare now running without any filter?
That tank is far too small for a Gourami of that size.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Well, another guppy died- the body has a white fuzz w/ fins sticking straight out, and the last male is lathargic. Yes, I know the gourami is too big- But my parents won't let me use the 20 gal until we redo my room, which they arn't trying to make headway on

We can help you better if you get your water tested and try to describe all of the symptoms to the best of your ability.
Now as for the white fuzz I think that it would be either fungus or columnaris (sp?). As for the lethargy that could be almost an entire vet's office of diseases so unless there are other symptoms i cannot help you. The ragged fins are probably fin rot. Sorry if i was being blunt about this
