After treating my 55g with Ich Attack for a week at 82F, my German Ram still has ich. I can't raise the temp anymore because of my panda cories. I will not have time to go to any LFS in the next week, so I am trying to find a different med online. Big Al's has Kent Marine RX-P, recommended to me before. I have also heard many people say Protozin is good. I can't seem to find it at Big Al's or ThatFishPlace. Does anyone know a website that sells Protozin? If not than is Kent Marine RX-P as good? I want the best meds I can find. I am tired of treating ich, as this is my second time in a little over a month. Any suggestions?

edit: Its obviously not available in the US. Or atleast I have not found a US site yet that sells it. Should I just get the RX-P? Does it wipe it out pretty fast?

I have not heard of Protozin being available in the US, maybe in Canada though? can you get stuff over the border?

If not, if the Kent product has been recommended, give it a shot.

Ok thanks. I didn't realize that the only people who talked about Protozin were either from the UK or Australia. It had been recommended to me before, but I guess they didn't realize it wasn't available here. I will give the Kent product a try. Surely it will work better than what I am using now. Thanks!

If you have a smaller tank, you might want to use it as a hospital tank... that is, shift the inhabitants to your 55 and bump up the temp in the smaller tank and treat the smaller tank with just the ram as its inhabitant. Of course, if that smaller tank had a betta in it, the betta would love the higher temp!
