I just want to say that I added 2 guppies in my 46 gal and they had ick the next day and its been a week and I havent done anything to treat it and so far no other fish have ick and the guppies seem fine. I am a lil confused thats all, maybe its a small case of ick and will go away by its self? I havent even noticed any fish scratching or rubbing against rocks either..I'm baffled lol

This can happen providing all the fish in your tank are extremly healthy and are able to resist the parasite.

Be prepared it could break out at any time if not you are very lucky.

Do you know much about Ich and how to treat it?

I had this happen to me. I put one of my bettas in with the tetras I had in one of my ten gallon tanks. The betta developed ick, while the tetras showed no signs. I had to qt the betta and treat with ick meds. He got better and I put him back in the ten with the tetras, then two weeks later he started showing signs of ick again. I treated the entire tank even though the others showed no signs of it. Now the betta is in his own little tank, due to fins that look like they are ripped (he will stay in this tank)- which I am treating. The tetras seem to be doing fine, but I am going to treat the tank again anyway - something is still in there I suspect. Often fluctuations in temperature / chilling will bring on the ick but can't figure out what caused it in my case - perhaps it is time for a new heater.

Heat will speed up the growth rate of Ich. The reverse cold can also bring it back, but slowly it does not multiply as fast and most healthy fish can handle it.

If the water gets below a certain temp it will actually lay dorment for some time.

I have talked via E/m to people who should know these answers but they do not.
