I just filled a 5 gallon bucket with water, conditioned the water properly, and I'm heating it to about 85 degrees F. I also added about a table spoon and a half of un-iodized salt to the 5 gallons of water, and an air stone to mix everything together and heat the water evenly. Once it's ready I'll acclimate her to the new water and let her stay there for about a week, performing partial water changes every day and feeding normally. When I introduce her to the bucket, I'll pull the airstone out so that any of the multiplied parasites don't get mixed into the water very easily. If I've done anything wrong, or if you have anything to add, then please tell me. All comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated. Zach |
