Not only has yahoo been as slow as my mystery snail, but now I can't even get in to My Yahoo. I've been with them at least 5 years and this is getting unbearable. They gave everyone this mega space and now they can't function.

grrr.

I'm having a grump too, but at hotmail and AIM.

Hotmail has misplaced my RTF editor, some years ago now, AND the 'contact staff' button goes to a dead page *sigh*

AND

now AIM have added a clause in their sign up contract stating they can use content of your private message conversations in any way they choose.

not on your nelly, no more AIM for me the snooping little devils.

but GRRR at Yahoo! too.

Hi,
An organization I belong to also uses Yahoo, and we were
notified of the clause about the AIM and other parts of
Yahoo where they can use "personal stuff" at their will.
There was an "opt out" button on the site that
is supposed to restrict this.

While this is the internet, and all of the ISPs will
give any information to the government when presented
with correct paperwork, we also should be able to assume
some privacy in our day to day communications. To me the
Yahoo announcement violated what I assumed was a right to
"some" privacy, and I would vote by walking.

I don't really use any AIM or other messaging service. It is ok, but I would just really rather deal with email than in real time chat or IM. I sometimes chat, but I don't really care for IM.
