... as I successfully defended my thesis yesterday (Friday) and now no longer am a student, but can add the three letters Ph.D. behind my name

It has been an unbelievable last three days, with more stress than I had for my wedding day but all went very well and now I'm slowly winding down... even though I've only slept 18 of the past 96 hours, I currently am not feeling tired,,, too many things going through my mind to feel sleepy. Anyway, it is something that I had to get off my back... now I will finally have a bit more time for my fish... maybe I'll even be able to raise the 150 or so Angel fry that I have in a small plastic tank on the kitchen sink

Congratulations Doc...I know that was a long hard struggle, one I won't be going through, but am proud of those who do...definately time for a name change!!!

I'm slowly getting used to the idea, although it still feels weird. Oh and mike, I'm now a Ph.D in Plant Molecular Biology, which doesn't mean that I know exactly how to grow plants, but only know what a plant is made off

ah, yet another version I've heard many in the past couple of months... one of the worst was one I saw in an episode of Friends, where Phoebe goes out with a "sexually challenged" stalker... you can imagine what the PHD stood for with him (down there)
