Just thought i'd say a big

'EH UP!!!'

to all the older members that may remember me.

I've been meaning to say hello for a while - and i thought i'd give you a 'very brief' catch up in my life and whats happened to me over the last 4/5 years ( wow been that long?!?!?)

Well I passed Uni getting My BA HONs DEGREE in Art & Design - now that was a waste of time. As i now own my own Pet Supply Shop named 'Animal Outlet' and have done for 2 years now, am in the middle of ripping the upstairs of my shop apart to make room for live stock --- and yes i'm going fish too. I have also some BIG plans for after that but it's all hush hush at the min don't want to jinx them.

i'm still with the love of my life Emma and am seriously under pressure to !POP! the question ( which i will soon - Em if you read this ) We are currently in the Middle of buying our first house together which i'm really excited about, finally ROOM for a BIG BIG BIG fish tank!!!!!!! i'm thinking mega custom (i have the contacts now )

Other than Working Hard, eating hard, sleepin hard thats about it.

I'd love to hear what folk have been doing that remember me.

i'm always mega busy (work 60-70hrs a week now - this self employed lark int what its all crack up to be) but i'll be keeping and eye out on the boards and maybe part some of my expert knowledge on those below if i get chance to take a peek at the forum properly.

well gotta go got a 4 day massive trade show to go to in the morning.

i've missed my fish 'geeky' friends (people just don't understand.)

If it's within easy reach of Liverpool I may pay a visit. Especially if you've got some nice exotica to keep me gazing starry eyed at your aquaria for a couple of hours.

Oh, and welcome to the madhouse. Which you will realise this place has become if you check out some of the things we're doing of late ... in my case, repopulating the entire Solar System with Panda Cory fry courtesy of my madcap spawning Pandas (and as if to emphasise this, they're starting to spawn RIGHT NOW as I type this - the aquarium is just over my shoulder to I can keep an eye on the little guys while I'm typing )

Oh and if all goes well, i'm looking forward to taking delivery of some Anomalochromis thomasi Cichlids. A species I last kept as a teenager, then spent the best part of thirty years trying to find again until I hit upon a supplier recently. I might get lucky and be able to twist his arm into letting me have a discount for buying the lot off him in one go, who knows?

So, if you don't mind an eccentric soul hovering around your place with a camera snapping your fish, I might try and pay you a visit ... now there's a threat to strike terror into your soul (Muhahahaha) ...

Glossop in Derbyshire --- find the manchester ring road look to the right you'll see the m67 just a bit further right after that ( like i said i'm in the middle of ripping the shop up to put livestock in at the moment i'm heavily specialised in Pet Nutrition and animal behavour and have an excellent reputation

he'll be working to between 50-100% mark up on fish so if he doesn't give discount on the lot i'd shop elsewhere in future. my policy for the business is not to be greedy with profits give good advice -even if it means missing a sale, and always doing my best to give a bulk discount.
Offer him CASH (proper money not cards or Cheques) and he could technically write them off as losses to the tax man and take all the moneyfor himself.

Abby - nice to see your still here. and yes it's the most 'distinctive' shop logo i do all my own advertising

Glad to know things are going well!! Keep up the good work, you'll eventually build a reputation, and be able to take some time off I'm sure your webpage will be top of the line, your graphics design is second to none.

yeah am mega busy - i've got a big multiple shop opening up quite litterally a stones throw away - so i've got to make sure i get things running smoothy, and ensure i make sure that people know i'm cheaper and give top advice.

Anyone else frequent this site i'd remember? anyone heard from Mez? i lost contact when i started my shop - last i heard was he moved (he used to live fairly close to my shop well within 5 miles)

Last I heard from Mez, he quit the whole fish scene 'cause he was really getting into herps...

Haven't heard from him in over a year Last I knew he had oodles of snakes and was only keeping one tank of shellies or something

Oh, not too bad, not too bad. Working at the local Sheriff's Department on the overnights (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em) keeps me busy during the night, and my g/f Robyn keeps me busy during the day when i'm not working on computers or the car.

Self help for feet? Who said i was trying to get help ? I don't see that going away anytime soon. Winter

I dont wanna talk about it either! I'm so tired of getting up at 2:30 am

and ....just do it....it's just a question....not like something that's gonna shatter the world.....unless you do it right of course . Don't make her wait any longer !
