I live in the midwest. Weather has been nice but this morning we woke up to snow on the ground. It looks strange to see the green grass still poking through. The high today is supposed to reach 24 with a low tonight of 14. And tomorrow night is the big High School football playoffs! We are going to State! First time since about 1968! Supposed to be 30 tomorrow & 18 tomorrow night!

Right now it is still snowing & sleeting............... so the game may be postponed. I've gotten warmed up with coffee.............. time for a bowl of hot oatmeal to keep me warm through the morning.

A good morning to watch the aquarium.............. it's warm & green in there............ no winter for them........... .............. unless the powerlines get bogged down with ice & give way.

I think I'm supposed to get your cold weather tomorrow. Currently its 58ºF which is really warm for this time of year. I walked outside this morning at 6:30 with a fleece and sweatshirt expecting it to be chilly and had the fleece off before I got to my car.

It was 27°F outside at 7:00 am when I was riding to my chemistry lecture. Not fun.

The high today is supposed to be like 56°F or something.

It was 80 deg. F when I went to work this morning and by luch it's down to 55. Not as cold as some places, but it's a heck of a drop for us. That north wind is blowing so hard and blowing cold. Wind chill is like in the 40's. That's polar ice cap, arctic blast for deep S. Texas.

Thermometer right now shows 70 degrees, then the front is going to come through and drop us to the 30's.

it was in the high 30's the day before yesterday or something. Holy crap, man. NorCal sucks.

Unusually warm here too...it is 75F right now (or was a couple hours ago)...it does not feel like November.

But decided to have one of my favorites for supper................potato pancakes! Fresh out of the hot pan & smeared with butter & diced onions!

I must be getting ready to gain that extra weight to tide me over through the winter.

I'm getting that cold here in Oklahoma! It's 17 right now at 10:00 pm., but the windchill came up to 3. It's supposed to be leaving here tonight & heading NE. So watch out monkeyboy...........we are sending it your direction!

NorCal > SoCal. We have Yosemite, volcanoes, Monterey Bay, giant redwood forests, and better animals. All SoCal has is deserts. And crappy cities.
