Thanks kieth and no its not. I have this thing still connected to my lung and i cant shower with it. ive had it since the emergency room so i havent showered in like 12 days. I SMELL!!!!!! Carpe thanks. sadly it did hurt quite alot. my first thought was that i was having a heart attack. trouble breathing and chest pain. but anyways i spent all last week alternating between morphine and vicadin. yeck. funny storys though. when the wheeled me up to my room from the ER i was on alot of morphine and they had an aquarium near my room. soon as we went past it my eyes got really big and i started reaching for it and was saying FISH! I LOVE FISH! LETS GO SEE THE FISH! i think i scared the nurse bad. poor lady. later that night i fell asleep on my bed controls and moved my bed up and down all night and kept calling the nurses lol. apparently they didnt have the heart to wake me up thanks brengun. i was very upset about the scuba diving its one of my goals The true test of character is not how much we know how to do, but how we behave when we dont know what to do. |

Mez Ultimate Fish Guru Asian Hardfeather Enthusiast Posts: 3300 Votes: 162 Registered: 23-Feb-2001 | my grandma is currently in hospital, those moving beds set all the alarms off on her everytime they move her - i really think we need something more suitable these days... they only move so you dont get bed sores. However, im sure the treatment/hospitals have a better rep over there than the ones here...shes been in hospital for 3 weeks now after a reversal of a colostomy and cathater bag (i have no idea how to spell those.) and nobody has any idea why she is still in there, none of the doctors know why (or speak english - upon asking you get the reply "not my patient", there was also feaces left on the bed.. My rant over. Spose its free though, at least. I could afford to get properly ill in america i dont think! Hope you recover well. James |
