And while those aren't my pics (*sends EMS to revive all FP members that just died of heart attacks @me using other peoples pics*) I've shot my share of ones that are similar (if not better cause of the snow flakes as those.

How long? Umm... since they started up the site. Not sure how long that is. *goes to look* End of last year.

How often ? Whenever the mood strikes. Sometimes I go quite a while without adding something, other times it's several times a week.

I suppose I don't get a whole lot in the way of visitors, nor do I particularly care. It's just something I like to do and it helps me get things off my chest. It's certainly easier to type something than say it, and the computer doesn't argue with me... much... It can be therapeutic. Also, this way I can say whatever it is that I want to say, then just refer friends to it instead of typing it into half a dozen messenger windows, drat it.

For about 6 months ... I think ...
Depends on my mood to when I update - sometimes everyday - recently it's been a couple times a week.

To answer someones statement - Some people I know post on there as well - so it's how we keep in touch. Keep each other updated and stuff because it gets difficult emailing everyone lol

Plus it's an easy way to get feedback on questions and stuff - lol

A blog is a "weblog" ie online journal. I love my blog. It is a great way to vent, and if I need to I can set it to private settings. But leaving it open to the public is a wonderful way to meet new friends, get advice, and generally feel better (somehow knowing that somebody out there has read what I am thinking but will never meet me makes me feel better).
Maybe I'm nuts. But with my myriad psychological problems, I need to vent and I love my blog.
Btw it's a Livejournal. Just to answer you're other question.

What is the point? First of all, diary's are meant to be private, so why would you publicize them?
Second, no one who reads them probably knows you, so they wouldn't really understand anyways.

A "BLOG" is a short word for weblog, which is essentially an online diary. It can be personal or public.

I have a few that i read occasionally, and i find them amusing. I would LOVE to start one of my own, but not until i get my own server setup I want the whole shebang! oh, and the time and inclination to write in it....

But if Babel gives up her weekend job, then she doesnt have as much money to spend on fish, but she does get to see her fish more. And that is what we call a tricky situation folks.
