Keith that is really cute! I like seeing fish comics....usually they are goldies in a bowl though. But that one is funny.

Wish-ga, have you NEVER read any of my Panda posts?

I once had a juvenile Panda that rose to the surface to take an air bubble, as Corys do, but this one forgot to expel the spent air from its gut (which, as anyone who keeps corys will know, they pass out the back end ...). Consequently, when it returned to the bottom of the aquarium, it discovered that its tail end was now more bouyant than normal, and kept lifting off the deck, so to speak. It spent about 15 minutes turning round to look at its tail as if to say "What's going on here?", then started hopping about the gravel with a look on its face as if to say "Hey, who put the helium in my food?", then suddenly a stream of bubbles was emitted, and normal equilibrium was resumed.

Sadly I didn't have the digi cam when that happened. Otherwise I'd have filmed it and posted a link.

I can appreciate wind passing jokes as much as the next person - you forget, Britain is the HOME of of the parp gag. Indeed, there is a comic strip (which I won't link to because the publication in question is a tad on the rude side) whose whole raison d'etre is cooking up silly jokes about passing wind. I'm sure my fellow Brits know the character in question

I used to have a pair of Dojo eels that would pass gas and scare themselves into a frantic dash around the tank.

When failure has occured after the begining of a series of attempts, make further attempts.

That's a good one! By the way, my Black Moor blows bubbles all the time too. He looks really cute and silly when he blows bubbles just when I am feeding him, mistaking the bubbles for his flakes.
