keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | I took the 12 yld Chinchilla to the Vet today to get her claws trimmed ( a regular visit) and also to check out a small problem. Was she (desexed) leaking from the nipple? To our surprise she was and to check this the vet was doing a little squeezing (poor girl) and she certainly was in fact it sprayed me very close to my eye. I have been with cats all my life and have never seen this before. Off for a operation on Mon to locate the problem hoping it is not the big C as cats can get this as well. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. At the same time four teeth pulled out apparently all had deep holes and would have been extremely painful, her remaining teeth cleaned. I expected a huge bill but only $350 As soon as I brought her home I put her carry case out side for a few minutes so that she could see she was home and get some fresh air into her. A few minutes later I opened the carry case inside, she staggered for about 15ft them went straight to the water for a drink then to the food. I bought some fresh fish and cut that up for her and as usual wanted more. About one hour later wanted more fish naturally she got some. Next morning wanted to go outside good weather so out she went for a while, came back inside and ate more. Four hours later walking around as if nothing had ever happened. That is what I call a good birthday she is OK now. Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? I'd have expected a massive bill for something like that as well . I know my cat growing up had lasting issues that required medication to keep her from losing too much weight. My parents knew it was important to do what we could though. ^_^ |
