I especially hate this class, because it's more like a math class than a science class. I hate math even more than chemistry. In my chemistry class, it doesn't really matter if you know the scientific concepts (which I'm good at), all that matters on the tests is the math (which I suck at). Pfft... I actually tested into honors chemistry on the placement test, because the test focused more on the science than the math. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

I did better than I thought in chem though (C+). What I'm really afraid of is that some Internet sources say that even biologists should take lots of math, as well as some physics and engineering courses. I fear all three. |

That's the course I'm fearing the most. It combines the worst aspects of physics and chemistry into one giant blob of calculus insanity. Joe Potato |

I just have to take three "basic chemistry" classes (called Chemistry 2, divided into three one-quarter classes - 2A, 2B, and 2C). I don't even have to take organic chemistry, which kind of sucks because not only do I find it to be a lot easier than "regular" chemistry, but for me it's a lot more interesting too. Oh well, at least I'm getting As in my Human Evolutionary Biology and Animal Biology classes... I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

I did manage a B due to a very, very poor performance on our third (yes, third) midterm, since I pretty much skipped the entire frq section, having run out of time. But regardless---it's still awesome. Physics, on the other hand (especially non-coneptual stuff), is a pain in the rear. |

That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions |

Here's what I'm taking now: Chemistry (again, but at least it isn't at 7:30 am anymore) Math (ew) Global Climate Change Introduction to Archaeology Pretty good mix I think. I don't have any morning classes this quarter, except on Friday (and it's just a discussion so I'll probably skip it). It's awesome. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
