I am currently on hold...

I have called to change some gov't payments i was getting....

I have no idea who i'm talking to. I think he said Tim, or Tom or something like that.

he keeps going off to look for things.
He has NO IDEA what form i need. Thank goodness the last lady i spoke to told me the actual name of the form.


*grrrr*


I know its whiney, but if you are going to have customer service operators working phones, they should at least know what they are doing!

And you really shouldnt put people with foriegn voice rhythms on an elderly/diability line. I can understand them ok, but it takes a lot more concentration. Accents are ok, but the rhythm throws me.

This is actually the first bad rep i have gotten from these guys, so i'm not that upset.


I just miss good old customer service!

I miss being asked if i need help but a shelf packer, or being told i look nice in something by someone who ISNT going to get the commission.... i dont know, its sad.


Hopefully Tim/Tom will get the hang of things soon and i'll get the forms i requested.

It's really sad that companies are outsourcing customer service to India etc...you can only understand about half of the stuff you NEED to understand, and it takes so long to get a hold of someone to talk to!

Marineland still has a good customer service line The phone says how many calls are ahead of you and about how long it will take (usually about 10 mins)...then you talk to somebody that knows what they're doing and can walk ya step by step thru what you have to do (I was having filter problems...they helped me fix it and it works great now)...they also speak english as their primary language and live in the USA

I've had too much contact with that "gov't dept" for my liking lately. We've never asked for anything from them in our lives and when things genuinely get tough, and you ask for some assistance, they treat you like a piece of dirt. As far as I've seen there is no customer service in that place.

Dont get me started on them, I could make a post 2 pages long!
