Today was fantastic news no more weekly visits but I still have to use drops every fours. Next visit will be in six weeks time. By that time the eyes will have settled down enough to set a date for both eyes to be operated for cataracts. At the moment we are looking at about three months time.

Fingers crossed that it all goes according to plan Keith, and you end up being able to:

[1] Still see at the end of this;

[2] See clearly;

[3] Be free of the threat of glaucoma once and for all.

Given how I've mentioned repeatedly that eye surgery is the ONE area of surgical practice that gives me the screaming heebie-jeebies, I still think you're a brave man. Mind you, better that than blindness.

Remind me to roll out a celebratory chocolate gateau in here for you when it's all done!

I have gone back to Gym this week no heavy stuff yet just walking and all heart work. Because of all the lack of activity I have put on at least 6Kg. I will not be doing any swiming until after the Cataracts are done and I get the OK from the Dr. I still have to wear swim goggles when I am washing my hair. Even cooking I am wearing wrap around safety glasses. On a bright day I must wear my dark brown wrap around tropical fishing glasses.

Just the other day I had to yell out at a young 13-14 yld girl to stop walking across the road she could not hear my motor because of all the across trafic. Yes you guessed it she was blind with a cane and off to a local secondary school.

That is too funny Keith, how ironic.

Glad to hear that things are overall progressing and you are on the way to a recovery. Hey, you should go shopping for some really cool glasses, before you know it you don't want to take them off anymore even when all is good again.
