The latest visit showed that the previous operations were showing excellent results as far as the healing process and the pressure at a low safe level for the first time in 25 plus years. However the cataract problem has greatly increased in the last six weeks. The other concern is that he can and will not operate until at least six months after the previous operations. This puts the cataract operations late October and late November. His final comment was I hope the eyes hang out until then, meaning the cataracts particularly the right eye do not get much worse that actually impairs my vision that it make it difficult for me to see and drive.
