I was just wondering what cretive names everyone named their fish. I'll start with a few of mine because there is no way I could name all of them, I can't even tell the tetras apart.
Dojo loaches: G.I. Dojo and Mojo
Horseface loaches: Shadowfax and Seabiscuit
Gold Barbs (I have 4): Big Mama, Daddy, Yellow Jacket and Bumblebee
Albino Cories (I have 4 with only 1 named): One Eye (can you guess why?!)
Kubotia loaches: Itchy and Scratchy because they were the fish I bought with a severe case of itch that was nice enough to contaminate my entire tank!
Guppies: Stud, Blue, and Pretty tail (real original, I know)
Clown Pleco: Rhino because he rams all the fish that come near him

I don't name my fish...

OK: I usually just name the goldies...the guppies have become to numerous to name...
My one big goldie (his buddies have passed) is Calli.
The two goldies at school: The white one is Romeo, and the golden one is Julliet...the kids named them...waiting for someone to pop up with a name for the snail in the tank...

I have somewhere in the neighbourhood of 1200 fish...naming them all would be insane.

my 2 sons name mine. i have a crusty krab red claw, 2 tiger tank dojos, and a jaws redtail. the list is endless.

my main display tank in my room is my piranha tank which houses a 6" red belly my female friends give him a name n say hes so pretty then i feed him a mouse after they run outta my room screaming they dont carew to name any others haha

I named my CT bettas Ricky and Lucy, and my VT's Fishy and Cleopatra. then i have a hitch hiker WCMM named Tiny (i could barely see him when i go him) i had a Guppy named Speedy but he was put down this week b/c of dropsy but my females and the fry dont have names, though the females and two older fry will get names soon. its kinda hard to tell apart 20+ ten hour old fry

I have never named any of my fish. However, other people have, and when they do, I just keep the names then.

Some names of some of my fish;
Silver Arowana; Gertrude
Red Tail Cat; Petie
Other Red Tail Cat; Pedro
Clown Knife; Mac (yes from the song, lol)
Lionfish; Leo
Other Lionfish; Tigger
Pond Koi; Goldie, spot, midnight, and a few more I can't remember, lol
Gauchua Snake Head; Ugg, short for ugly.
and a few more I can't remember
