Hey guys,

Everything about the formal seem to be well set.
Deposite's been paid, venue is told (quiet lovely).

Now just one more thing. The big dance...........
It's my first formal and my date's first too.
She's a natural dancer, does ballet and jazz but doesn't do any formal dance.
So we thought we'd go find a dance class somewhere.

What dance is normally done at a formal?
The proper name thank you so I can find a class.

Things are going great between us.
We more time together than her and her girl friends.
Last friday we went to the part for about 3 hours.
Held hand together when we walked for the first time.
We were holding hands for like more than a hour, then we had to go home.
Holding hands and singing disney songs.

Please help out and make things even better for us.

As far as I know formals (in Aus) are not set out to have specific dances for the night. If it was, you would be told. Maybe try and ask an organiser if there is anything?

Go have some dance lessons with her anyway, could be fun.

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I don't know about where you are, but around here, if you're talking formal, then you want to know things like the waltz, etc. I don't know how to dance, either, but I can at least follow along in a waltz. I know around here, they have "formal dance" classes. Or maybe something like ballroom dancing? Not sure how they'd word it over there.

Try looking in the phone book under "dance" and see what you find. You're prolly looking for something like "formal dance" "ballroom" "couples dancing"... things like that.

i m a terrible dancer

the thing is it doesnt matter cuz when i try it makes my lady friends laugh thats the main point

but i do know howda waltz tango ballroom n marangauy dance

here up in canada the dances r usually 2 step or jsut commonly slow dancing
she puts her arms around ur neck u put ur arms arouns her waste n lead
depending on the beat n melody of the slow u circle sower or faster
there r many variations such as grinding different hand placements mostly try not to walk on her dress if it flows n dont step on her toes lol

focus on her not what everyone else is doing

btw u can also make it more formal by holding her hand in ur left hand with ur right hand on the small of her back
chests slightly apart n retain eye contact

if u cant afford dance classes jsut have fun with her
lite some candles somewhere n play slow jams n jsut dance

my g/f n i dance even out on the road in the rain n i use the sond system in my truck to play slow jams
she loves it
most ppl there wont b professional dancers so jsut have fun
