Paid $2.29 on Wednesday, which is about what it topped out at last year when the prices were high. That was for 93 though, I think regular unleaded was probably going for 20cents cheaper than that.

wisconsin has a law that no gas station can change their prices more than once every 24 (or is it 48 ) hours. a few did change theirs on 9/11 but they didn't really get into too much trouble for it

I just checked, and there are places in Newfoundland (our East coast) that have hit $1.02/L.

Easter will be here very soon and today $1.13 per Lt up by over 15cents per Lt in a few days.

Eepensive Easter motoring for some.

Still $0.79-$0.81/L here....I dread to see what it will be by Monday.....we have never cracked $0.90/L here in Calgary, but this may be the month we do so.

Well, folks I think i'll gas up again tonight though I'm only at 1/2 a tank (I drive about 75 miles/day) But, noticed when I drove past Wal-Mart (where I always get gas, as with the gift card here you save 3 cents a gallon, and at this rate 3 cents is 3 cents) and you guessed it the price has gone up again when I don't know, it was $1.84/$1.87 this morning, now it is $1.90/$1.93. Still not complaining compaired to some of ya'll it's still cheap, but good grief 6 cents in 8 hrs? And I saw on the front page here to expect the gas to continue to climb like this, due to a shortage? OK, now I'm worried for all of us, we are getting messed with and I at least want a kiss MAybe we will be able to keep each others spirits up, as the gas goes up also...heidi

wow, $1.80 a gallon is CHEAP...

It is i think $2.20 for the cheap stuff here

0.70/L here, which works out to about $2.24US/USG. Mostly because oil is fast approaching $60US/barrel...rumour suggests it could see $68US/barrel by month's end, and $85US/barrel by August.....which will mean $1.10/L here, and $2.75US/G in the states.

We get fed a lot of reasons WHY petrol is big $$$ we are always dearer in our summer season reason more demand in the northeren hemisphere (winter).
Todays news the reason is China is demarnding more oil so more competition up goes the cost. Well that is what we are told.

Finally our Government have a large tax on fuel the higher it goes the higher the tax they just cannot loose so why change it (their reasoning not mine).

OK I definately feel better nowI knew that "Europe" paid a ton for gas]:|but good grief Cup where are you at in the states? Almost $3/gallon? Ok I'll definately quit complaining when I gas up again on Friday, my $30/tank isn't so bad afterall Heidi--Houston, Texas

Last time I checked around here, it was $2.10-ish.

I remember a few years ago... well, more than a few. Maybe five years ago, I got gas for $0.89 a gallon!
