Dani and I are doing great. I think my last post was "we are getting married" and then I dissapeared. Reason we havn't been posting is because we actually bought a house. Small little starter home. But we STILL havn't got internet (or cable even) in the house. She still lives at home w/ her parents, until we're married on June 24th. Then she gets to move in. Another thing is that one of our cars is down so we are working with one car.

Luckily, she lives (literally) about 30 seconds from home. To explain, behind our back yard, there is about a 15 feet of a wood that stretches the length of the neighborhood. On the other side is a shopping center... where she works!

I am now working at a consulting company as the receptionist/data entry/Guiney pig/gopher boy. It pays well, but it is only a temp job, but I’m looking to get hired on. If I don’t, I have some fall back options.

Just to give you a sample of what I have to do work wise: last year I worked at a vet hospital, aquarium store, a pet store, quality control, DIFFERENT pet store, and now I am here. I left the vet place to work at the aquarium store, then that place closed, the first pet store was one I got through Dani just as a temp job, and the QC thing SUCKED!! The second pet store was a store I hated but it was a management position, and I thought it would help. But it sucked anyway. It was a typical store that gave bad knowledge. I was the only one there who knew a reliable amount of stuff on fish.

So don’t worry. I wasn’t just ignoring you guys, I was ignoring everyone equally!

I'm doing good. Because of two moves I've had in the last... 1.25 year. I'm down to two aquariums... *gulp* (75 reef and 45 [going to be] planted tank)

I'm, AGAIN, on the look for another job!!! However, I do have a nice little desk job, where I have internet access! However I don't have an office so anyone can see my computer when they walk around the corner. Often I just close the window, which is REALLY irritating when typing a post!!!

My house is a MESS, and if I ever get it clean, I'll also get some pictures of it too!

In any case, I'm in the same boat, down to a bare minimum of tanks setup, only three betta boys left and I just completed my third move in like, six months or so. And no, no 'net or cable for me, yet, either... of course, just got moved into the apartment less than a week ago.

Racso, is there no way around that on your comp.? On mine, instead of closing a window, there is another colored "button" by the close window button. If I click on that, the page folds up & stores at the bottom of my comp. screen where no one can see it.

Also, I have it set to where If I move my cursor to any corner of the screen, 1 second later the screen saver comes on. Can you not do anything like that?

are you talking about minimizing the window? If I do that then at the bottom it shows a window "FishProfiles.com" and "Fish Profiles" doesn't sound anything like "Scheduling classes and sending out confirmations and inputing class roster and schedule into a specific program"

what about using the boss key? Not that i'm encouraging you to be looking at FP while at work but its a nifty function.

Yes Racso, I was talking about minimising the window. Sorry, I didn't know someone would be looking close enough to see it at the bottom of the screen. I thought you were talking about a casual glance.

Kitten gets internet tomorrow. *happy dance* I'll be online more in the future. These "go to the library in order to talk to anyone" days suck.

Lindy: not premie anymore... Booskey default page isn't work related, otherwise, I can use the companies web site since I am working on it!

patty: yeah, boss will often come and examine my screen. She askes me to go between windows and will look at the toolbar. Casual glance I can just alt-tab it.
