You'll have to try the Kool-Aid. If memory serves me right I sent Lemonade, Grape, Orange, Lemon-Lime, and something crazy and new...just mix it with water and sugar, I gave directions on the envelope...and drink it cold or over icereally it is goodmy favorite is the lemonade or a big bunch of lemonade and grape

yep dude I was just gonna say I got a note back from the TimTams company and this seems to be the better of the two places to order Aussie goodies, of course I don't know about trying stuff I don't know about

Now Lindy I swear that the Vegemite is great with Peanut Butter of course Leslie keeps picking on me for taking the Vegemite home and not being willing to share it The only thing better I found out through experimentation is mixing some with some mustard and spreading it on bread...now that also was pretty good

Vegemite... bad? no no Billy, it just ripens

(there is so much salt in there its virtually indestructable. I've had vegemite out of jars over 4 years old, and they taste the same as fresh... well, not the same, but they aren't 'off'

AQIS note - if sending stuff over here, do make sure it is sealed! otherwise the quarrantine puppies will go off their rocker and the parcel will get opened and anything suspect or outside guidelines will be removed.

I dont think vegemite goes bad Billy. Although I must say it never lasts even close to expiry dates here.

Heidi, i'm glad you like the vegemite, i'm just not sure on the peanut butter thing...

I think i'll have to open a new bank account for myself... FP Lollie Trading Account! I love the idea of trading stuff but its costly to send big amounts at a time.

Nah, I think I can pack up some brisket, true 5-Alarm Chili, and...though this may be difficult...I could probly send some Sno-Cones syrup and directions on how to make Sno-Cones to some folks (Sno-cones are popular enough here that we have a chain restaurant that only makes them...all year long...and they make a KILLING

I've had Tim-tams (which were about the chocolatiest cookies in history) and Vegemite (which still sits in my cupboard with a very small amount missing that I tried and then had a couple other people try...once...)...

Just out of curiosity, what happens when Vegemite goes "bad"?!?!?

I am MORE than willing to get into the trading of goodies! Along with overseas trading, there is also foods/yummies that are local to specific areas of the states as well.

Your the company that makes tim-tams right? if you do PLEASE send some over to U.S.A!!! Ive heard some americans saying theyve never EVER had tim tams I think you should do them a BIG fovour & get some tim tams over to America, they would be over the moon!! Anyway, Just a thought...

I think it might help if we can get a thing going where people send messages to Arnotts BEGGING to get tim tams in USA, what do you think?

OK Folks, as a lot of people know some of us have exchanged addresses and have decided that instead of being penpals we would be I guess Candy/Lolly Pals

Well, last night when i got home I had a delivery card in my mail box saying that I had a package, to check with the office...so today I left my meeting early on the statement that I had to go pick up an important package

And the package has come

So far Leslie and I have dug in and each had a Minty (these are going to be my new favorite) Kind of like a Now or Later/Taffy/Peppermint combination, but oh so much better

We have tried the Vegemite, and it isn't as bad as I was beginning to fearIt smells like really strong yeast bread, and tastes about the same with a kick...added to a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich it was wonderful

We just split the Violet Crumble, and have discovered we love it also(it has been a bad day, the candy is making us feel better) We both agree that it is wonderful, and tastes like a Malt Ball/Butterfinger...oh delicious.

As far as the TimTams go...I think I've died and gone to heaventhere are no words for how good that was...absolutely no words to describe the sweet chocolatey, yumm...

Lindy thank you so much, can I move in with you?

You had vegemite with peanut butter and jelly? That is the most bizarre combination i've ever heard of! :%)

Are there any timtams left? If so, save one til you have a coffee (or hot chocolate), bite 2 diagonal corners off and suck coffee through. Then stick the timtam in your mouth before it falls in the coffee.
