(Just got home after seeing the new "Transformers" and "Star Trek" movies.) COOL! TTFN --->Ta-Ta-For-Now Kelly ;o} |

Here in Michigan, during summer, it doesn't get dark enough until 9:40 or later. The kids have a ball and that's what makes it worth it for me. In the winter months, there's more making out (usually by the teens) than watching movies. TTFN --->Ta-Ta-For-Now Kelly ;o} |

(That I know of) There may be a few more but they are definitely few and far between. A dying breed to say the least. The one here is open year 'round. Hot or cold, it's open. They usually cut back on some of the screens in the colder months. BUT, they are for the most part cheaper than in door theaters. You can bring whatever food and drinks you want, talk and laugh as loud as you want (inside your vehicle), usually you get a double feature, and if you luck out maybe a triple. You can stay as long as you want too. If you are willing to adjust your sitting position or the vehicle itself, you can watch the other movie screens playing near yours. Yep, they used to call the mall a 'drive in' because you could drive in rather then take the train We do have a drive in movie theater here, I've still never ever been to one though, to me they sound kinda fun *grabs the bugspray*! Nights are a tad chilly here though ^_^ |
