We seem to get heaps of questions asking what karma is, especially as new members are joining the site all the time. As
the information is not yet included in the FAQ's I'm taking what Adam wrote in his original post introducing it and popping it up the top of a couple of forums for you all.


1. Karma Points. Sort of like a post count. You get 1 point for creating a thread and 2 points for replying to a thread as one of the first 5 replies - this will only occur in on-topic forums. You can also receive 5 points for voting for us on aquarank each day. Some people already have a few karma points. This is because I carried on the points from the old rating system.
There will be an extension to this system soon where you can give some of your points to other members.

2. Post counts will not increase for small posts such as "Yeah I agree", etc.

3. Warning Level %. This wont be applicable to most of the people here, but for some it can build up as justification for banning.
