***wants the 120 tank***
My bookshelf that is on one of my last free walls can go in the closetand hopefully the landlady won't shoot meJust one question how much do you want for it, and would it be possible to hold it till this summer? It might just be worth the trip, and effort to get me out of Houstonas I'm losing what mind I have left:%)Gonna have to think about itAnd I am going to add a another 20 to my set up tomorrow, at least i'm going to purchase it if it is still thereset up once I either need it or i get tired of looking at it emptyHeidi

lol, oh yes, I have a ton of beef heart, as I do my own. When I get my beef every year, the packaging place knows my family and I really well, so he saves all the beef hearts from every one elses that does not want them. So I get about 50 lbs a year free. The beef heart is for most all my fish as well, not just the discus. But actually the discus get more plankton than they do beef heart.

Thanks all. To answer some of your questions, I do not work for any lfs. However, I do breed alot and sell to many lfs. As for what do people say, lol, many different things, lol. But, to get it straight from someone who has been there, you can ask Jorge or Gartenz... dani. lol. I spend a whole day, about 12-16 hours, once a week, doing nothing but tank maintenance. It takes me about 15 minutes to do a "quick" feeding, and up to several hours to do it how I like to. As I feed many different things to different fish, from flakes, to krill, plankton, daphnia, cyclops-ease, pellets, night crawlers, red/dug worms, ect.

Betta splendens
Betta coccina
Corydoras metae
Corydoras panda
Cardinal Tetras
Zebra Danios
Inverts: Amano shrimp and some random Malaysian trumpet snails that showed up in my tank today probably a hitchhiker from my plants :%)

Coming soon (all of my tanks except the betta ones are severely understocked at the moment):

Betta smaragdina
Aphyosemion gardneri gardneri lafia
Aphyosemion australe (orange)
Guppies
Various tetras
Maybe an angel
more corys
cherry shrimp, other fw shrimps
(might probably change my mind on specifics later)

One word wow.
Do you own a fish shop or something, as you would have more tanks than alot of lfs.
Where to you find the time to get onto the computer. And while I'm at it, where do you find the time to keep all those tanks maintained?
Do you employ someone to help you, or do you chuck a BBQ and at the same time get them to help out!.
wow. Most impressed.

Acid....

I knew yours would be impresive.. What are peoples reactions the first time they walk into your house Marc?

Heidi, my gallonage isn't including the tank I'm about to get.

Jamie won the debate. She gets to keep the 55 gal and use it as a grow out for guppies. I'll move it to our fish closet soon.

I am going down to vero in 2 weeks to get the 90 and 120 gal.

that will put us at almost 400 gals..

I'm gonna sell the 120. I just don't have room...

Well Shannen, I'm holding out for a school of Monos for my 100 gallon whenever I get the money to get some mailed to me by Jorge and Dani...since they get them and I don't...

I'm still debating what to do with the rest of the gallons...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

Good idea keithgh. Only you should look again at your profile. It says you have a 5m cory . As for me I have:
...
...
...
1 male betta!

This is only for the time being. I'm moving and I'm going to get a 55 - 120 gallon tank (the only limit is price!) and my brother is getting a betta in the near future. Plus I have 2 tanks in the basement which I will setup.

I have also kept:
opaline gouramis
clown loaches
common plecos

I thought a thread for this would be a good idea. Lots of people ask in chat "what kind of fish do you keep?"

Well here is your chance to list them.

Guppies
Red spot, and albino BNs
Blue and Gold rams
Bolivian Rams
Bettas
Green and Gold Severums
Angelicas Loaches
Skunk Loaches
Veil Tale Angels
Otos
BGK
Whip Tale Cat
Red Eye Tetras
Dojo Loaches
Panda Cories
Masked Cories
Long finned Gold Barbs
Rosy Barbs
Celebs
Harlequin Rasaboras
Clown Pleco
Pearl Gouramis

This is our current stock list. I think I got everyone in there.

Edit: err yeah the Fox.

Brackish tank:

bumble bee gobies
White face gobies

Edit2:

The Goldfish..

List my fish:%)Let's see:

8 adult guppies
too many teenage guppies to count:%)
personally terrified to count the newborn guppy fry
1 common pleco
1 male beta (bad boy)
8 metae corries
2 neon tetras
1 mesquito fish or wild looking guppy (not sure which, but is now pregnant)

3 acei cichlids
4 kenyii cichlids
3 rusty cichlids
3 cobalt blue cichlids
5 electric yello cichlids

as for gallons of water, I added it up this afternoon as a fun activity for the kids to practice math, and Shannen we are close I think: (20+20+20=60)(125+55=180)(29+10+2.5=41.5).....(60+180+41.5=281.5)

OK don't have you beat, but I'm catching up 281.5 gallons

edit: countless MTS
