Nice. I must admit, however, that at first I thought it was a bunny.

I didn't want to say it but I thought it was a bunny too. It looks nice and it's clearly seahorses. I think I was trying to see one something instead of two and my brain didn't work properly.

As long as I'm posting, what does one do with an amulet bag?

One "amulets"?

I don't really know. I think it runs along the lines of a medicine baggie.

This one is probably too small for all but some coins and maybe some small trinket.

Now what does one do with an amulet bag?

As memory serves me (I'm full of useless stuff--no comments from the peanut gallory now!) Amulet bags were used to carry many different things depending on the culture and your position in society...

They were used to carry items that would remind you of your totem sign. Things that gave you your name...There would be certain items placed in to decree what your position was within your tribe (I remember from the Earth Children series (dang it where is book 5? or is it 6 now?) that the medicine man/woman carried a piece of red ochre in their amulet to signify to others that they were the medicine man/woman)

Ok there is my bit of knowleds, it's really pretty...heidi

EDIT: Calla what size of beads did you use? They almost make me think they were a size 10 or 11? Try going with 13 and 15!!! They might drive you crazy, but you get such wonderful detail...and the results are even better--hml

I've only got 6 colours of delicas at the moment, i'm trying to use up some of my feature beads so i can free up a container for more going to be fun, i have a few needlecases to cover soon
