Happy travels, Adam :88). I know what work can do to a hobby. That's why I haven't been on much. I've been working 11-12 hours a day and going in on Saturday's. Heavy learning curve in my new position and for a while, that has to come first. Without a good paying job, I couldn't afford this hobby

I should try and answer Bryant's question with less of a silly reply...

Moderators are chosen by the Administration but there doesn't seem to be a printed criteria to qualify to be a Moderator.

Much of the decision may involve those who have requested to serve, but that request has its consequences and is not totally recognized.

Some favoritism may play a role, as in all of life, in the decision-making. There have been instances where the volunteer role as Moderator has been a burden to the member chosen and of course resignation soon followed.

Those who have played the game without controversy are always candidates for the position and are sometimes asked to fill an open slot.

No Moderator is perfect, but as far as I can see most are fair in their decisions to edit, delete and warn members that they are sticking their necks out over the line.
