We didn't really learn anything at the seance. It wasn't too long after my wife told them to stop it and they were a no show.

We had some fun with a Ouija Board but I'm always a little sceptical when it comes to that. It would be too easy for someone to be moving it. If the stylus moved by itself that would be pretty convincing.

Maybe I'll ask the ghosts to do that. If they can move a cup of coffee, move the stylus ought to be a piece of cake.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Hiya guys,

Well, I have had some stories myself. Did submit one of my stories to the Castle of Spirits site here.

http://www.castleofspirits.com/stories03/avisitto.html

Yeah I know that the nick and email do not match but it was the first time posting a story nd I really did not know what the response would be like so I created another nick which I could lay down to rest if the response was not positive.

I did return to the Quarrantine Station this year in October. This time I got to go to the Hospital block which was burnt down in 2000. The building beside it was still standing and when we were inside in the rooms where they had the beds lined up like it was in the past, my partner and I heard a loud banging sound behind us even when there was noe one behind us. We suspect that the resident nurse was not happy that one of the visitors had leaned on one of the bedposts. My partner seems to be in touch with the otherside and sometimes sees black and white shadows especially where she works.

To each their own, Dojo, I'll stick with mine. Dodging flying clocks may be exciting but I want to be able to relax. Can't do that and watch for airborne timepieces.

Enjoy, Mike

Maybe they'll let you get some sleep if you ask them. Talk, don't yell.

Ghost cat. Oooh. Sounds cool.

The Entity, huh? Can someone tell me about that movie?

My grandmom has some ghost stories over her own.

1. When she lived in Hunington beach, Ca, she had a clock hooked to the wall that lifted up, and flew 5ft. straight ahead by itself. This was in the 1970's, when she was a teenager.

2. My grandma was lying on the couch in her house near Fort Sil (where her husband worked, US army chief warrant officer), when she heard cackling. She looked over to the lit fireplace to find a sky blue demon head bobbing in the flames, laughing at her.

3. At her current residence in Lake Elsinore, she heard the sound of steel claws scratching the inside of her bedroom walls. She could follow the sound all over the room, the ceiling, even behind her. Like Freddy Kruger had a secret passageway inside the walls...

4. Also at her current home. Her second-youngest daughgter, Sharon, was (and is) really fat. Like 400lbs, with high cholesterol and stuff. One night she was reading when she saw the Grim Reaper walk towards Sharon's bedroom, as if to take her ghost away. Thankfully, she [Sharon] was at her house in Idyllwild.

All this is true. On three of them she has witnesses on two of them.

I alos have one of my own.

When my parents got married in 1980, they were both Super-Christians. Always being nice, spreading the word of God, donating to charity when they were poor themsleves, reading the Holy Bible every day, going to Church and Bible studies, etc.

One day, a few years back, I saw a faint image of Jesus walk down the hall in my grandma's house and smile at me. Dressed like he always was (apparently), just turning and smiling gently at me. How nice of him.

There's a thought. I wonder if they watch while you're doing the things you do in there. That'd make your kidneys bashful. I better not mention that to my wife, she can't if someone is talking to her through the door.

Animals are pretty perceptive. My wife was laying on the floor reading with the cat on her chest when the ghost cat made an appearance and the real cat saw it too. Also that cat had fights seemingly all by itself in the kitchen in the middle of the night. My wife would come out and he'd be all puffed up and yowling under the hutch.

Cool Mike!

I think we might have a lil summin too. Where Jamie n I live are some very old apts. Our upstairs bathroom is really 3 rooms. The main room with the sink, mirror, and toilet. Then another room with the shower and a sauna aka the 3rd room. Jamie made me cover the glass on the sauna door with a picture, and the dog will not go into the bathroom if the door to the shower is open. So far nothing odd has happened in the house. Maybe my ghost just like to watch.

Spooky indeed

Hi, everyone,

A while back I started a ghost story thread, I've got a new one.

This morning I poured a cup of coffee from yesterdays pot, dumped the rest and started a new pot. I put the cup in the microwave and went outside to have a cigarette. I heard the microwave beep and took a few more drags before I went in.

I saw the cup sitting on the counter and thought I had forgotten to put it in the microwave so I pick it up and it's hot! How cool is that?

Yes, I was home alone, at least no other living humans around.

Yes the coffee was cold to begin with. My coffee maker shuts off after 2 hours.

No, it didn't malfuction, there was no sputtering when I filled it with water like there would be if it was already hot. Also, my coffee may be strong but I would be able to tell if it had cooked all night.

I think they are back. They were quiet for a long time after the dresser drawer thing, I'm so excited.

I think it's time for another seance.

Spooky Mike

I'm glad some of you have nice relationships with ghosts.

I'd be freaked out, even if my housemates were as friendly as Mike's. I think the concept itself is a bit uncomfortable, but having such limited control over my privacy is just as bad for me.

I hope they dont get too mischeivious for you! Helping with coffee is good though I guess.

Since you said that its time for another seance I am curious to know what you have learned from them. If its not site appropriate PM me. Of course only if you want to share.

We've been in this house for 6 years and the ghosts started up right away but neither my wife or I said anything at first. Then one day she asked heve you been seeing... and I said yeah. They gradually increased their activity until one day they freaked my wife out and she told them to stop it and they did.

They've been quiet for about 2 years but recently we've been telling our 11 year old about some of the stories, he'd never heard them before because we didn't want to scare him. He has started talking to the ghosts, telling them it's ok to come back and guess what, they're back.

The voices are back, the bumps and scratchings are back and, though we haven't got a good look at them yet the movements caught out of the corners of our eyes are back.

Life is good, Mike
