I was going to buy it but then my father said he was buying it for me..so a free lens
The lens is this one Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6

I agree, very nice

I have a few lenses that refuse to work right for auto focus, forced to use manual and at times that's just a nightmare (if I've forgotten my glasses )

But, at the same time, it can be fun relying on manual settings.

Some really nice photos there Rob.
Manual focus can be trying but for all the crook shots you take, every so often you will get an absolute beauty and then its all worth it.
