Obviously they are cheating the system somehow, but I doubt there is anything that can be done, or is there?? Jim |

crazyred Fish Addict LAZY and I don't care :D Posts: 575 Kudos: 360 Votes: 293 Registered: 26-Aug-2005 | You know, another fish site that I'm familiar with got busted for cheating a while back and got a strong warning from Aquarank. They used to be #1 or 2 all the time with suspicious vote totals, and now, I don't think they crack the top 25. "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

Calilasseia *Ultimate Fish Guru* Panda Funster Posts: 5496 Kudos: 2828 Votes: 731 Registered: 10-Feb-2003 | It's now in:460, out:44. And once again, their tally looks suspiciously close to the tallies for the remainder of the top 25 all added together. Tally for everyone from #2 to #25 comes to 473. A quick look at the source reveals nothing unusual - it's a PHP sc So if AquaBid are being 'helped' to achieve their ridiculous total by program code that is adding other sites' votes to AquaBid's total, finding this out will require some serious detective work. Anyone here got acces to some military computer hardware I can borrow for an hour or two? |

Just tried to vote via AquaRank and got a splash of error messages all over the screen, namely: Warning: mysql_connect(): Too many connections in /home/www/aquarank/in.php on line 272 Hmm ... interesting, n'est-ce-pas? |
