EMERGENCY

Tomorrow night is my 2nd best friend in the entire world's Sweet 16. It's a pretty big party, and she's a very close friend/teammate and my cocaptain. So naturally I have hair and nail appts. tomorrow, and I have a nice dress picked out. It goes from orange-pink-orange-pink-orange-pink all the way down; it sounds sort of ugly here but it really is pretty.

Now the actual question...

Should I go with a french manicure/pedicure, or just go with a solid color with a design and match the pink in my dress?

I can't decide and it's bothering me.

Go with an American Manicure...have them put the basic white on the tips and then get something like Cotton Candy for the pink/overlay...that way it is still very stylish, yet different...There are lots of other pinks that will work, it's just finding one you like, and the Cotton Candy is my favorite

French Manicure goes with everything. I would have a cute design done on them though instead of just the regular airbrushed curve.

My advice? Go with what makes you look good.

Don't be tempted to opt for a radical change from styles that you've established as your own up to this point unless you have the chance to try them out beforehand and weed out the obvious disasters. Stick to what works for you even if that little voice in the back of your head tells you that something different would be more glamourous. Takes time to learn what works and what doesn't, and you wouldn't want to experience a faux pas on an occasion this important to you.

Oh, and enjoy yourself. Go have fun, and let everyone here know how it went. Especially if you were voted "Belle of the Ball", as it were. Let's face it, we all like to share things like that when we are the star attractions

EDIT : One reason you'll probably never see me in a tux. Formal suits and me merely reinforce the image of my being a candidate for a "Wanted" poster
