My middle name it Graham I have no idea where it came from.
My eldest son has two one from each grandfather.
Another sons middle name is Keith I wonder where that came from.

I have a middle name (and a confirmation name that I don't use), it is Mary & my surname begins with an M. Nice aliteration. People like to 'sing' my name which is amusing.

I wouldn't feel like a whole person without a middle name.

Interestingly my cousins have no middle names and have named their kids without middle names. So they must feel differently to me about the middle name issue.

Conversely a friend of mine has no middle name. Is getting married soon and is planning to use her maiden name initial as a middle initial as she always wanted a middle name. Her parents each hated their own middle names and choose not to give middies to their kidlets.

Koran Leslie Weston
Weston is from the norse "west-on" to describe a family that lived on the west obviously.
Koran was a misspelling by my biological father, my mom had intended it to be "corinne" he got it wrong, it also happens to be the name of the muslamic bible
And Leslie is an old fashioned middle name cuz my mom is odd like that

Babel... my first name is Persian too. It is, I'm not. My mother just really liked the name.

My middle name is Edward. It's pretty commonplace, it just has a family connection. My grandmother and her two sisters all married Edwards. My two aunts (grandmother's sisters) named each of their first born boys Edward. When my grandmother had her first son, my dad, he was to be named Edward too, 'cept that my dad's sister - who was 6 at the time he was born - said, No let's name him Richie! So he was named Richard. To make up for it, I was supposed to be named Edward, after my grandfather and to keep the tradition going, but instead I was named Richard too. Now there are 4 Richard's in the family... :%) Kinda weird how one name just took over for the other.

My middle name is the name I go by rather than my first name (my older sister is like that too)...I've been teased plenty because of it but I also didnt have to worry about putting my last name on my papers in school till fourth grade when the teachers started making me do it...I was the only person with my name in my school system....I would say in the whole school system ever but after we moved to the country there was one other girl with my same name that had been thru the school system about 10 years earlier ....and yep she was persian too

My middle name is Maree, but close enough that I chose the 'Marie' option. I actually spelt it 'Marie' for years until Mum set me straight .

I actually love my middle name. I sign my name Heidi M. Laird...but if it a letter or note to someone who knows me, it is Heidi Michelle ... I guess I like it so much because it is the name that my Nanny (mom's mom) chose for me.

And Tryst...your name is unique...I do have a student this year with the name of Trystian, so I do know how to ounce it...and Elysabeth, is how my mother wanted my father to spell my sister's middle name, but he goofed up and spelled it Elizabeth. Elysabeth, I've been told is the Irish spelling, while Elizabeth is the English spelling.

OTHER: I have a neutral opinion of my middle name, it is spelled strangely just like my first name. I would like to get my last name changed, because my initials and last name are the same as my father's.

I am Shannen Glenn Small

I love my name....All of them are a lil bit different.

Shannen is normally spelled with an o, E is actually masculine. My dad named me after his favorite movie Shenandoah.

Glenn, is normally spelled with only one n.

Small, is a black last name, normally it is Smalls, I'm 100% whiteboy....


Now my step son is Cody Michael Small......

I guess my middle name is not rare like my first and last, but I think that might be part of why I love it so much. It is Rose, but when I sign my name I just use an R.
