They were such a pain to bottle feed. They were starving but couldn't get the hang of it. My hands were coated in scratches for weeks until they managed to drink the formula from a bowl. Then finally started chewing moistened kitten food. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v244/aqh88/kitten/ They all found new homes within a couple weeks after those pics were taken. |

Everytime we have a new horse he nearly gets himself killed by the mom because he wants to see. He also picks up any kittens he finds in the barn and carefully carries them to the house to show us. Usually to a large protest by their mother and the kittens come out rather slobbery but unharmed otherwise. He does get annoying since if there are babies around, even guinea pigs, he wakes everyone up every few hours all night so we'll go check on them with him. |

"nick off into the garden" I've never heard that before. Over here nick means, like something has the smallest piece bumped out of it, or it has a scratch in it. Languages are so much fun. |

I wish I had a pic around of our Birman Tia, who died about 5 years ago...in all the years we had her, we somehow never managed to get a pic of her showing her beautiful blue eyes. He's birman Thinks he's all that too, lately he's taken to looking really put out and meowling at all the household inhabitants until he gets what he wants. All that outdoorsing has gone straight to his head! |

I still cant bring myself to call breakfast brekky, or say 'how ya goin' Adam wants to give vegemite an employee of the month award, dunno why she should get it, all she does is sleep, suckle herself (odd and she's too old to be doing it anyway!), and cause trouble with packing orders! ^_^ |

FRANK Moderator Posts: 5108 Kudos: 5263 Votes: 1690 Registered: 28-Dec-2002 | I love it Babel!!! We cannot get a box into the home and open it without Missy checking it out inside and in many cases adopting it as THE WORLDS GREATEST TOY! One day we got something in a box that was about a two foot cube. I propped it up with a pencil and carefully sprinkled some "kitty weed" (catnip) in the center of it. Missy crawled under the edge of the box and in the process of rolling around in the catnip knocked the pencil out trapping her in the box. She rolled and fussed and tipped the box over. She jumped out, and then jumped back in again and played with that box for a week before she finally lost interest in it so we could throw it away. Mean while we laughed till we had tears in our eyes. Every time I tried to get the box she'd race me to it, jump in it, roll around in it with such energy, I just could not bring myself to toss it. By the way, I think you are picking up the lingo just fine. It's even creeping into you posts... "No worries" Babel. Frank -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |

Our 10 yr. old cat still does it with a blanket & the 5yr. old cat takes every opportunity it can find to climb on our lap & take a button or just a piece of shirt into it's mouth & do what we call, "a kitty dance." |

I go out and buy this lovely crinkley bag thingy that the cat is supposed to go in and have fun with all the crinkleyness and whatnot... and what does Lucky like? The spiffy plastic bag my latest purchase from Torrid came in. Pfft. Trust a cat to be contrary. Lucky in his spiffy leopard crinkley bag: Lucky in the free-with-purchase shopping bag: Side note, I did remove the string handles from the bag when I figured out he wanted that bag more than the purchased one... don't want to strangulate kitty! ~Meow. They always find the oddest spots for naps, after we've already spent time and money getting them proper cat nap spots. Vegemite's taken to sleeping and playing in the basin that we got for the kitchen to dump gray water in for the garden. She learned quick enough that if she dumps the water out onto the floor she's got the perfect playpen. ^_^ |

On the bed with me, on top of the computer, or on top of the satellite box in the entertainment center. Or.. http://digitalphantasy.com/images/loki_sink.jpg There are little mice, balls, and such everywhere. What does he play with? Twist ties, bottle caps, rubber bands, and my roommate's ponytail holders. Listen! Do you smell that? |

She tends to like a specific type of paper and will carry it around with her. Randomly start chasing it up and downt he hall. Attack it under the bed at 2am ect. She also likes tape. She likes it alot. We have a lot of tape on boxes. She loves to chew on it BTW check out cats in sinks ^_^ |

agent_orange Enthusiast Posts: 165 Kudos: 77 Votes: 31 Registered: 05-Dec-2002 | Well, where I am living now there are quite a few cats that share part of the house. They aren't mine, but you can see my dog in the last picture. They have roam of the laundry room, one of the living rooms, kitchen, enclosed patio, outside patio, and an attached kennel. I walked around trying to get a picture of them, but I think I'm missing one or two. There are no repeat pictures of any of the cats, there's actually that many. Pardon the quality, it's from my camera phone and it was kinda dark. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat8.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat7.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat6.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat5.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat3.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat2.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/spooke03/cat4.jpg What does that mean, Bob?
