The Monday Hating Club | |
DaMossMan Fish Guru Piranha Bait Posts: 2511 Kudos: 2117 Votes: 359 Registered: 16-Nov-2003 | Ok who hates Mondays ? I know I do. Not only does it conclude the weekend, but it commences the work week. (for most of us) If something goes wrong, it's bound to be on a Monday. If you're in customer service or tech support, Monday's the worst because almost everyone is extra cranky. Do you hate them too ? If not, when is your least favorite day ? The Amazon Nut... |

I can remember too many years ago one year the first class I took every Monday morning there was a little girl who was always at the front of the line to come into the trade shop. She always had a big smile (in fact she still does today) this made for a good start of the week. Also I have had the opposite a bad class made it a hard time until a good class arrived. Finally it was a Monday morning I said that's it and walked out after 26 years of teaching enough was enough. Yes I knew it was going to be one of those extremely hard to start weeks. Now being retired Monday is good its Gym day and Marg does her look and see shopping, after gym we meet at a shopping complex for a coffee then home. I believe a survey has been done in Aust finding out that most accidents that happen at work are on a Monday morning and Fri afternoon. Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? VOTE NOW VOTE NOW |

Or a Monday "its Gym day and Marg does her look and see shopping, after gym we meet at a shopping complex for a coffee then home" That sounds like the way to enjoy it The Amazon Nut... |

Also means people are slightly less likely to be running chainsaws, lawnmowers, weedwackers, and assorted other powertools at 6.30 in the morning. Less likely to be revving motorcycles at 5a, and I get a moment or two of quiet before the screaming babies next door start their all day bawling (which for the record has been going on since december when they moved in with their parents half dozen loud rustbuckts on wheels. I don't so much belong to the Monday Hate Club as the Neighborhood From the Far Reaches of the Underworld Club. ^_^ |
