keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | Today Thursday day before Good Friday in Melbourne Aust it went to $1.50 per Lt. Yesterday I bought it for $1.30 per Lt. How can the oil companies justify that? Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. On Tuesdays around here the cars wait 5 or 6 deep to get fuel. Last time I went, I lined up only to find that they'd turned the pumps off on all but the standard. I had a very unhappy car for a week and they magically had premium on the Wednesday. I just don't understand how it works. |

Calla - Wow, sounds like a panic. Here it's about $3.65 per gallon for regular unleaded (not that I've seen leaded in my lifetime, but some people call it just "unleaded"...). Some of the cheapest in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's actually getting to the point that people are buying less gas. So what I've been hearing is that the oil companies will soon be putting the pressure on OPEC to lower the crude prices so that people will keep buying gasoline... I can't believe I was around at a time when people thought $1.85 per gallon was expensive. ><> |

My truck is heavier, has only a 5 speed, larger frontal surface area, is higher off the ground etc etc and gets 17 give or take, whereas my camaro's got 6 speeds, is sleeker, weighs less etc etc and i can squeeze 26 out of it on the highway. |

Saves me so much money, and I don't need it living in the city now anyway ------------------------------------------------- I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium.
