Ok here goes. One thing I hate is people who complain endlessly about their lives or jobs or anything without actually doing anything about it. You hate yourself? Start loving you because it's all you've got, either that or realize there's a reason you're not satisfied and change it. You hate your job? Suck it up and take your paycheck or find something better. I know that it's impossible to be positive all the time, probably more than most out there could even comprehend, but the point to hard times is the opportunity to make it better. Carpe diem.

The one thing I hate above everything else is the ability of most people to pollute the world in harming fellow beings. I hate people who abuse something just because they consider themselves superior in some way. People who turn the other way and pretend it's not happening just so they can sleep a little better at night make me sick. Children, animals, the elderly, the disabled, minorities and countless other denominations are mistreated every day and hardly anyone even cares. This thread actually makes a good point for my argument. Of all of these things that people hate, the violence and hatred that plague our planet only made the lists of a few. Apathy is not the answer.

Another thing I hate is people who are all too content to live in their happy little bubbles, all too content to be forcefed their opinions by the media, too afraid to actually get out into the world and get some perspective.

I hate that hardly anyone takes the time to give thanks for everything they've been graced with in the world. Taking things for granted only makes it hurt a whole lot more when it's gone. I'm not talking about religion, you don't need to be religious to appreciate life. All I'm saying is that it's important to take some time every day and be happy to be alive and remember that it can get better but it could be worse. Have some faith.

I'm finished preaching I guess. I may be depressed in the clinical sense of the term, I have a lot of obstacles to face but anyone who takes the time to get to know me can tell you I'm one of the happiest people there is.

Good point. I sorta meant those people who complain about something when they could be doing something about it, though. Most of the things we're complaining about here are things we can't do anything about. Unless you want to shove a gag in someone's mouth to stop the whining!

As for whining, I was talking about people who like to sound like five year olds, "but I don't waaaaanna!" and things like that.

I know you probably don't think tha it was, because your reply was very civil, but my comment to you about whining was not aimed at you to be rude. I was merely stating an ironic point
I definitely have to agree about that type of whining too. I hate talk shows and their fake stupidness, but Dr.Phil happened to be on my television, and it was about people asking him if the things they did were normal. This one girl asked if it was normal for her to baby talk to get her way. I swear she had to be the most annoying person in the world..even if it was fake ]

LMAO...Oh yeah, Bryant, I forgot about your tree-hugger hatred I got one for ya, you will love it. Most people in the US know about earth first! If you don't, they are what I call eco terrorists. They spike trees, tie themselves to trees, make themselves into human roadblocks, destroy private property, etc. to further their agenda. They don't care if they hurt a person, so long as a tree is saved. Anyhow, we had some of them here, and they were protesting a road being built, because we were cutting down trees. They had their little picture in the newspaper (wood product) and in the picture they were holding signs made of paper (wood product), stapled to sticks (wood product), sitting on little blocks of wood (wood product), around a camp fire, made out of, you guessed it, WOOD!

That same summer, they were also protesting the "silt buildup in streams caused by deforestation" and it's effects upon salmon spawning. They tried to make their point that "this road should not be built" by diverting said stream into said road....and causing a huge washout, depositing silt into said stream, and thereby muddying up the stream right at spawning time.

Just sad

i don't hat, but i don't LIKE (see how positive i am..) when ppl do the following:
-pick their nose and wipe the " findings" on my car seat/couch
-chew on the sleeve of their 100% wool sweater,( this takes place mostly in the winter time back home when it snows... not here in AZ...)
-chew/suck on a lock of their hair
-mix mustard,mayo and ketchup, and then dip their fries in the " glooby" mixture
-when girls/guys have longer nails and a pound of dirt underneath their nails (it's ok if u r gardening, or working on ur car, i'm talking about "the same nail junk" for days at the time)
-ppl who chew on egg shells, grinding them in the mixer is ok , but don't chew on them whole!

that's it...

I hate when people dont leave a message on my answering machine.
I hate telemarketers who call and try to keep me on the phone right when Ryan is starkers and about to be put into the bath.

whole blended egg ( literally, including the shell) is in a protein shake that weightlifters or ppl who wanna get in shape drink. bruce lee would make a beet/apple/carrot/whole egg shake every morning and the guy looked sweet. it tastes better than all of the energy bars/shakes/drinks i have tried.. especially red bull.. that stuff tastes like shampoo

That vegetable/egg shake sounds really nasty.

Anyway, once you drink Powerade, Gatorade tastes like crap! Gatorade has all those nasty artificial flavors and such...

did u ever have egg shells in a shake? so how do u know it's gross, or just cuz it sounds nasty, doesn't mean it is.. that stuff egg nog looks like slimey gooey "octopus milk" blah.. but it tastes ok, actually i don't know it looked too evil, i didn't wanna drink it. but i'm sure its FUNtabulous!!

Well, as pertaining to an LFS, the only thing I've come to dislike is an actual LFS (not chain store) whose employees have a habit of not knowing very much about fish. I can appreciate the hiring of beautiful girls as much as the next guy, but unfortunately, I do have a question regarding fish once in a while during my visits and they prove to not be such valuable customer service tools when I lose complete and utter respect for them...

TeeBee I get the same thing, even people who know I"m older think I look 15, and I think I only get that old because I work long hours and dress like an grown up (when I can find clothes that fit me that is ).

I do not hate, I pity. I pity people who have no idea about how to preserve a forest. They rant about "saving the trees", and say how cutting a tree down is a bad thing. Then, when our forests burn, they whine about air quality, the fish population, soil erosion, mudslides and flooding. You know what, people, everything is not black and white. Your toilet paper comes from somewhere OTHER than the local grocery store. Oh yeah, and what is up with people thinking that plastic bags are more environmentally safe than a paper bag???? HELLO! Awww, but beans aren't THAT bad? lol, you'd probably hate my house at dinner time. Beans are usually a staple. They go along great with the rest of the food though (usually Mexican)

On the whole 'Goth' thing, I am not a stereotype. Most people think that goths are always suicidal, attempt suicide, are never happy, are mean to anyone else, only hang around 'their kind', and are usually Satanists. I do get happy, I'm quite the fun person to hang around with most times. I do have my bad days, and they don't include me being suicidal and/or attempting it. I'm deeply interested in the paranormal. I study religions and remain Agnostic, so I'm not a Satanist (BTW, they really aren't as bad as lots of people seem to think they are...)I love talking about politics, and other world news and things. I'm in Choir, and one of my favorite hobbies is Fish. I'm not a stereotype, so I hate when people tell me that I'm not 'Goth' because I don't fit the stereotype. *And that might be why no one could tell I am 'Goth' from the way I type.

And I hate when other 'Goths' try to prove their 'gothness' against mine, saying that 'true goths' don't shop at Hot Topic, and true goths don't do this, or that. I am who I am. I live by a "Gothic Philosophy' and most of my dress style is black, though not all of it is. *shrugs* I guess it all comes down to hating stereotypes and un-openess in people.

Ok, more things that I hate:

* I hate Insomnia....Well, I think it's insomnia, I mean, I do sleep...just maybe a total of 3-5 hours a week lately No wonder I have so many Hobbies

* I hate socks with holes in them--the hole ALWAYS seems to be right over my big toe

* I hate when I BEG my mother not to do my laundry, and she does, and my favorite shirts that I love specifically for their large size are now tiny and could fit my sister

* I hate when I go fishing with my friends and all they do is sit there and go, "this is boring..." and "bait? You want me to put WHAT? WHERE? and HOW?!?!?!?" grrr!

* I hate it that several of my best guy friends are more of a girl than I am.

* I hate when I go to the movie theaters and while I'm in a rated R movie, stupid little kids are running around blowing snot bubbles in everyone's faces and their parents completely ignore them for two and a half hours.

* I hate when people who live in the United States sit there and bash our country and how much of a rip off or whatever it is to live here If it's so bad, then move! We didn't want you here anyways!

* I hate when people complain that Mexicans and a few other nationalities are coming here and taking all of our jobs. Just because they WANT to work and WILL work, doesn't mean that anyone should bash them. I mean, come on, if you already have a job, why and how does this affect you? If you don't have a job, then why don't you get up off your lazy bum, and go get one?!

* I hate when people complain that everyone in America should speak English, because it's America. I mean, if we use that same logic, then we should all REALLY speak various Native American languages, no? They were here first weren't they?

It's kinda hard to mimic the conditions which created fossil fuels, so why not use renewable resources before we use something we can't re-grow? Forestry practices are very similar to farming. We just farm trees. It is rather difficult to have an informed opinion about anything if you have never been outside a city. Where I live there are HEALTHY trees dying because of bug-infestations. The infestations continue to spread at an alarming rate because there are so many people who don't want to see a tree cut PERIOD. More trees die off from bugs than we would ever harvest. And that frustrates me. I cannot understand people who form an opinion from what they have heard from other uninformed, or militant groups, or the news media. I say, PLEASE, come visit me. I will show you the difference between a managed forest, and one that has been left to nature. I don't hate them, I just pity them, and I can't understand them.

Yes im a swetie and i have a ton of goth freinds who are all coll and they are not the steryotyipal goth just goes for what they think are 'goth clothes' and goth 'atticude' and are'nt realy goth at all ! But goths are cool speak to one and you will find out for your self.

did u ever have egg shells in a shake? so how do u know it's gross, or just cuz it sounds nasty, doesn't mean it is.. that stuff egg nog looks like slimey gooey "octopus milk" blah.. but it tastes ok, actually i don't know it looked too evil, i didn't wanna drink it. but i'm sure its FUNtabulous!!

anyway since the topic is "things that u hate/like" here's what i like....
i like finding a colorful band aid on the bottom of my adidasEZZZ ( only on them cuz the soles r really flat and cool! old school adidas ruleeeee) especially if the ban aid is colorful, like has elmo, or nemo or bart simpson on it..

this is gonna sound crazy but here it goes, when i have to puke i luv the feel of a clean COLDDDDDD toilet bowl on the inside of my forearms, when i'm hugging it, while puking, u know how ur face gets flushed red, cuz ur head is down... and u get all hot.. well nutting like a CLEAN Chilly toilet bowl agains ur hot skin...

Well, as pertaining to an LFS, the only thing I've come to dislike is an actual LFS (not chain store) whose employees have a habit of not knowing very much about fish. I can appreciate the hiring of beautiful girls as much as the next guy, but unfortunately, I do have a question regarding fish once in a while during my visits and they prove to not be such valuable customer service tools when I lose complete and utter respect for them...
