Adam and I spent waaay too much time driving out to Toowoomba this year to see their annual carnival of flowers. Two and a half hours there, and we had our time cut short by a storm moving in, but even so I got a chance to see one of the flower gardens. I was amazed at how big the beds were, and this was only one of the three main public gardens

Here are a few pics of the flower beds:

(yes that's parsley, adam said it didnt' taste very good )

That's pretty nifty, Babel.

I probably would have tasted the parsley, too

That is the sort of garden display Marg & myself will spend hrs there. The parsley shocked me at first but it certainly have that greenery effect.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

These were from Laurel Bank park, it had a garden for the visually impaired next to it that I dont really have any photos from. It was based on plants that have strong scents or textures, very nifty.

Keith, had I had hours to spend you'd have gotten each flower photographed individually !
