wish-ga, here you go, sorry it took so long to answer in another thread.

But I'm off to Sao Paulo Brazil for 3 weeks in June. I'm moving some work for my company there, lucky me no, I am not going to be losing my job, as we are getting alot of new business.

But it is all expenses paid (except for what gift shopping I can do). And we are not going into the jungle areas, to dangerious.

I'm taking as little as possible, mainly digital camera, iPod (borrowed from grandpa ), and clothes of course. Should be getting laptop from work very soon. And I've been trying to get my hands on more memory for my digital camera (Sony DSC-P50). But no luck so far, as it wont use the secure media or anything new.

Kinda long flights. Almost 4 hours to Dallas from Detroit. then about 11 hours from Dallas to Sao Paulo. Only good thing about the flight, is that I get paid while I'm flying.

Lucky for me, I dont have to worry about my fishes , room mate is skilled in taking care of them. I'll post some pics when I get back.

I forgot about Canada but when I lived in MI it was just a drive across a bridge to go there. The spouse is also from Canada and I lived there for almost a year.

I barely squeaked into Canada on my birth certificate when I went. Didn't help that when I got an extra copy, the stupid official people didn't put the seal thingy on it. (Yes, I sound so articulate, don't I?) For the sake of some prettily crimped paper, I almost didn't get onto my flight.

I really should get my passport, because I WANT to travel, but got no money for it (or for traveling, for that matter), so I guess I'm stuck here in the Chi.

I've been to every US state except Alaska (I think), but I've never been out of the country. I have tons of family in south Louisiana (Acadiana), so that's where I go the most.

Hey Monkeyboy, safe travels!

I didn't know you were of an age to travel for work... I actually thought you were in your teens

Wow, I'd love to go to Brazil!

So far I've been to the USA, Mexico, Belize, US Virgin Islands (St Thomas), Netherlands Antilles (St Maarten), Bahamas, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, and Papua New Guinea.

Should be covering most of Europe in the next two years after I move to the UK next March. /:'
